A poem.

Masks on masks on masks.
Rosary beads and benedict medals,
Jerusalem crosses and scapulars,
"Deus Vult" and "Christ is King,"
slogans memorized over Scripture.

Rainbow flags and peace signs
and performative protests;
toleration is a virtue unless
it means tolerating tough doctrine.
Humble exercises in pride.

Cosplaying Christianity with
a heart made of stone,
a mind full of filth,
and a tongue black with venom.
"I never knew you: depart from me."
